New payment service - like paypal but easier to get cash

Just found this - seems to work like nochex/paypal etc but you don't need to register a bank account to receive money (tho you do need an address)

Payment is made by credit card (max you can SEND a month is $205, which can be increased, but you can withdraw any amount it seems) and they ship you a Visa/delta card that you can then withdraw from any hole in the wall machine - therefore meaning you dont have to give bank details etc out, all you need is a safe address to get the ATM card to! Takes a few days to get the ATM card but after that you can get your cash within seconds of you being paid, unlike a few days with nochex. Also means you can accept payments worldwide.

With them being based oversea's it will also be much harder for TS etc to get any details if you sell anything a bit dodgy. Sellers need to sign up for a merchant account I think.

It looks pretty good actually,

Especially for the people that dont have a bank account, or cant get a credit / Debit card

and it allows you to receive Credit/Debit card payments

but not sure how secure this is becuase its an american company and uses different bank rules to the UK, also dont know there policy on clawbacks(chargebacks or whatever you wanna call em)

I'm gonna stick with nochex it does'nt take long to get to your money if you need it.
Would try if a few others were members and gave some info on it :confused:

I've signed up for the merchant account and it looks ok.
Couple of pitfalls - $19.95 for them to send you the card!!!!!
All money is converted to $ so that may affect the amount you receive. Restricted to $210 sending limit - although receiving and withdrawal I don't have any limits.
Plus points - 1.99% + $0.29 is cheaper than Paypal. Covers more countries than Paypal. Cant see anything about chargebacks - certainly cant be worse than paypal. Get money within minutes rather than 7-10 days through paypal.

Nochex will be better for most UK transactions I think, however for overseas I think I will start trying to get people to use this.

For disk sellers you could of course sign up with a fake address that you have access too and make it harder for trading standards to catch you :)
