View Full Version : Samsung V200- "No service" message?
Hiya,
I've got a V200 here which I successfully unlocked last night, to accept any UK sim card. My mate has just put his Vodafone sim card into it for the second time, and now he's getting "No service" message when he turns the phone on, and he can't make calls or send texts.
Any ideas?
Tom
Try putting other sim cards in to start off with like another Voda and O2 etc to see whether it comes up with that message with all sims and not just that one.
Ok will give that a try tomorrow when I see him. I had my O2 working in it last night and he had his Voda working this morning but all of a sudden it's decided to come up with this.
Cheers.

@ tom did u ever get to the bottom off this as i have just been handed one the same to fix??
Yeah i've sorted it now, do this:
enter these 5 reset codes WITHOUT simcard:
*2767*media#
*2767*full#
*2767*cust#
*2767*wap#
*2767*stackreset#
e.g. *2767*media# = *2767*63342#
The phone will reset itself after each code, allowing you to enter the next.
