I'm currently trying to setup my mum with a new video/HDD recorder. She enjoy's watching sky and there is lots for her to watch. She is at the end of her teather trying to find programs she has taped on her 13 year old VHS recorder.

Her current setup is:
32inch Widescreen Panasonic standard TV
Sky Digital (no + or HD)
Knackered old VHS recorder.

I think a HDD recorder would be better than a DVD recorder however a dual machine featuring both medias would be good. Do you have any ideas guys?

Thanks in advance.

Don't need Freeview btw.

i maybe biased, but i find ther panasonic machines the easiest to use ever.. new models out in march tho, so could be some serious reduction in price on current models, or wait for the new ones.
