I have just got a ps2, I would like to play backed up games and copied games on it, I dont want to have a hardware chip, I have been told that i can make a boot disk so i can play copied games?
Is this true?
Where can i download the iso file so i can burn it to a cdr?

How reliable is the boot disk? I heard they only work on some versions of PS2's and are often unreliable.
But then again, I know Sweet FA about PS2's.

think my incredimail is having trouble releasing such a big file ...
let me know if ya recieved it
Takt, dunno if Incredimail has this function, but did you know that Outlook Express allows you to "break-up" a large file into smaller segments to get around large file limits ? Worth a try yeah ?

No Luck!
I have tried various Combinations and file format when burning to cd, but when put in to ps2 it dont reconise the cd??
Worth try thoe!
Regards Nick
Normally boot disc's for PS2's only work with mods such as the flip top lid, where as you insert an original cd, the region code is read, you remove the game and insert the boot disc. Basically a disc swap.
The are, at the moment no known cd's that boot a "Backup" on the station 2 and actually let you play it.
I have been looking into this and following any progress since the Station 2 came out.
Unless there is something that I have missed, I too have this boot cd image, but have never managed to get it to work.
Hope this helps some of the confusion as far as PS2 boot cd's go.
